A Comic-Con International divulgou a lista dos indicados para o prêmio Eisner de 2010.

Os brasileiros Ivan Reis, Joe Prado e Oclair Albert foram indicados por seu
trabalho na revista Blackest Night, na categoria de melhor série
limitada ou arco de história. Danilo Beyruth, outro artista brasileiro, está
concorrendo na categoria de melhor antologia, com a revista Popgun vol.
3, na qual saiu uma HQ de 16 páginas do Necronauta.

O artista com mais indicações foi David Mazzucchelli, que concorre em quatro categorias com o livro Asterios Polyp.

As grandes surpresas foram My mommy is in America and she met Buffalo Bill (Ma maman est en Amérique, elle a rencontré Buffalo Bill), de Jean Regnaud, HQ francesa originalmente publicada em 2007, pela Gallimard, e Émile Bravo, que recebeu três indicações ao prêmio; e The Photographer, a aclamada obra de Didier Lefèvre (argumento e fotografias), Emmanuel Guibert (roteiro e desenhos) e Frédéric Lemercier, também com três indicações.

Esta é a 22ª edição do prêmio Eisner e os resultados serão
anunciados no dia 23 de julho, na Comic-Con International.
