Conheça os indicados ao Prêmio Eisner de 2008

 Foram
divulgados os indicados ao Prêmio Eisner. Os vencedores
serão revelados em 15 de julho, durante a Convenção de Quadrinhos
de San Diego.
Este ano, a categoria Melhor Publicação para Audiência Jovem
foi dividida em duas: Melhor Publicação para Crianças
e Melhor Publicação para Adolescentes.
As duas características mais interessantes das indicações deste ano estão
na diminuição do domínio dos super-heróis na premiação, e o aumento significativo
de material estrangeiro, tanto europeu quanto japonês. A editora mais
indicada foi a Dark
Horse, seguida de perto pela DC
Comics.
Os brasileiros Gabriel Bá e Fábio Moon foram indicados mais
uma vez ao prêmio, e em diversas categorias. Outro brasileiro indicado
foi Rafael Grampá.
Entre os artistas e escritores, os mais indicados foram James Sturm, Joss
Whedon, Fred Chao e Jimmy Gownley.
Este ano o júri é composto por John Davis, do distribuidor Bookazine,
Atom! Freeman (proprietário da comic shop Brave New World
Comics), Paul DiFillipo (escritor de ficção científica), Jeff
Jensen (da revista Entertainment Weekly) e Eva Volin (bibliotecária).
